WRITING COMICS WITH SCRIVENER Workshop

I’m using Scrivener to write a project titled Promethean Age with co-creator / artist Steven Cummings. In the process I completely rebuilt the comic book script template Scrivener provides. PROMETHEAN AGE - WOO HOO!

I’ve rewritten the page by page story beats for all 5 issues. Steven has signed off on it and it’s with our developmental editor, Greg, to get his take on this version. Once Greg green-lights it I’ll draft the script for the first issue.

    I’ve received some really good feedback from my alpha readers and I’m currently working on a second draft of the story beats (the plot essentially). Once that’s done I’ll script the first issue and put together the pitch document.

    I’ll be Returning to HeartFire after Promethean Age. The world-building feels pretty solid so once I reacquaint myself with the characters and the premise I’ll jump right in to a first draft of the story beats.

    “TRAVERSE” is a FREE ten-page fictionalized comic book story I wrote about my mother’s suicide. Warning: this is NOT suitable for children but I do encourage you to share it for free with any friends and family you think it might be helpful to.   • THE CURSED BLADE & IT TAKES A VILLAGE

    "MD Digital 1" is available on my shop for 99¢. There are two stories in the comic. The main story "The Cursed Blade" which is set in the world of my Intrepid role playing game (free alpha tester version will be available in my shop soon).
